Gyoza (Potsticker) Addict.

7 Jan

Hi, my name is JDub and I am gyoza addict.

For those of you not in the Asian food know, the gyoza or “potsticker” is usually a pork or chicken and vegetable filled dumpling that can be boiled, steamed or pan-fried and is basically what I would consider Asian comfort food.

I do this from time to time where I get into food ruts. It starts innocently enough with a craving and then it turns into an everyday eating occurrence and before you know it I am doing comparison tests on various varieties…slippery slope my friends.

I’ve had Trader Joes gyoza. Bristol Farms (a high end grocery store) gyoza. And my old stand by, Ling Ling chicken potstickers. Granted my food rut has died down in recent weeks yet I find myself on the hunt for more gyoza…have a recommendation to keep fueling my addiction?
